Zen – sounds something special? But it is something you can easily apply to your daily life or to your business. 

A zen monk and business leader, Kiyohiko Shimazu, visits from Japan to teach you practical, everyday training to settle the mind and live with more clarity.

This event is for:
・Anyone who doesn’t know about or have any experience related to Zen
・Anyone who wants business networking opportunity in Canada
・Anyone who is interested in business or leadership

・Location: UBC Robson Square C300 Theatre(800 Robson St)
・Details: Japanese classical dance (Nihon Buyo) performance. Talk on bringing Zen into daily life, relationships, and how you live

・Date: November 2nd, Monday 6:00 to 8:00 PM
・Location: SELC Language College(321 Water Street, Gastown)
・Details: Seminar about leadership and Zen. Zazen and kyosaku experience. Discussion, Q&A, and talk with Mr. Shimazu

Both days are presented in Japanese with consecutive English interpretation.

Kiyohiko Shimazu is the founder and CEO of Shimars Inc. and was ordained as a Zen monk in 2012. Before founding Shimars, he served as a board director and head of HR at Starts Corporation and led two group companies as their top executive.
