4th Connecting Academy: Practical Goal Setting Workshop

Sunday, January 5, 2025 9:00am-10:30am @SELC Language College

Six participants came right at the start of the new year. Thank you!

This time, we held a workshop with a guest speaker for the first time. Our guest speaker was personal coach Tsubasa Kaneshi.

Through interactive activities, we were able to learn in a fun way about topics such as "Where does motivation come from?", "What should goals be and what are they like?", and "What perspectives are needed to overcome problems and obstacles?". I believe that setting new goals and working towards them is extremely important. I hope that this will serve as an opportunity for participants to delve deeper into their inner selves and think about their future as they prepare to fully embrace 2025.

[Connecting Academy] This year, we aim to provide participants with even more opportunities to grow and meet like-minded individuals with whom they can learn and grow together.

Happy New Year 2025!

What is a connecting cram school?

The Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce has been holding these sessions twice a month since September 2024 at SELC Language College in Gastown, Vancouver. These sessions provide a forum for participants to exchange opinions on a given topic. Our goal is to cultivate global talent by enabling participants to express their opinions in Japanese and English while understanding and respecting others.
