To our members
We recently sponsored a networking event held on September 20th at the Downtown Coast Hotel for entrepreneurs from the Kansai region who were visiting the area.
The visit involved Professor Kutsuna of Kobe University, a renowned figure in the field of startup finance in Japan, and 11 of his students—entrepreneurs and business managers—staying in Vancouver for three days from the 18th to the 20th. They engaged in highly intensive activities, making connections with the BC government, the City of Vancouver, UBC University, companies, entrepreneurs, and venture capital firms in order to "explore opportunities to enter the Canadian market."
The opening reception saw more participants than the capacity allowed, allowing them to interact with entrepreneurs and attend presentations.
I was able to spend a meaningful time.
Furthermore, our board members and members have taken the lead in a project team called "PackPeak,"
I received high praise for my work, which included preparing for networking events, training for startup pitches with venture capitalists, and coordinating meetings with Canadian partners.
Our organization will promote exchange activities that "connect Japan and Canada" in the business field.
