今週末は天気もたいへん良く楽しい週末をお過ごしになられたことかと思います。さて本日は弊会の創設者のひとりで元会長、現在名誉理事の津田佐江子さんが４月２９日に旭日小綬章を受章されましたことをご案内いたします。津田さんはバンクーバー新報を１９７８年に創刊された方で同紙はバンクーバー地区の日本語誌として、唯一の週刊紙でありました。津田さん、あらためておめでとうございます。

I’m sending the great news to inform you that Ms. Saeko Tsuda of the co-founder of JCCOC, former chairman and present honorary director, also she is the founder of the Vancouver Shinpo received a cordon of the order of the rising sun on April 29 from the Japanese government. Congratulations, Ms. Tsuda!
