新年あけましておめでとうございます。弊会では今年もさまざまなイベントを企画しています。

その第１弾は１００年以上前にリッチモンドのスティーブストンに数千人の移民を送り込んだ和歌山県日高郡の三尾村（現美浜町）の移民の歴史を現代に語り継ぐ語り部ジュニアの歓迎イベントが行われます。このイベントにはカナダ在住の工野儀兵衛のもうひとりのひ孫とその家族が参加します。

Dear JCCOC members,

Happy New Year! We are planning a variety of events this year.

The very first event will be a welcome reception for the Kataribe Junior from Hinomisaki Amerika-mura. A few thousand people immigrated to Steveston, Richmond, from Mio, Wakayama 1oo some years ago.

The Kataribe Juniors are the storytellers about the history of Wakayama immigrants who made a great success. The other great grand-son of Gihei Kuno and his family will join the event.
