We have usually promoted our activities through Beach cleanup, but this time we hope to have a roundtable communication to have conversations and networking with all who attend!

Speaker 1: Shogo Matsui Environmental Consultant /American football player/ Teacher in Japan & Canada

Through his experience working for an environmental assessment company and as an educational leader in Canada, Shogo Matsui will share his expertise in the environmental field of oceans and fish, as well as tips on how to survive in Canadian society as a teacher.

Speaker 2: Naoki Ito Co-op Student / Fisheries Trade Company Sales

He will share with you how he made a choice to leave behind the title of “Shin-sotsu = new graduate,” which is considered valuable in the Japanese job market, to go to Canada on his own to study abroad as a Co-op student, and then to work for a marine products trading company.

Speaker 3: Takuya Hikita Tsukiji-Toyosu auctioneer/managing a marine products trading company

After majoring in marine biology at university, he worked as a auctioneer at Tsukiji & Toyosu for 10 years. He has since started his own business in Vancouver. He will share with you the importance of human skills in both Canada and Japan as an “Ikiru-tameno-kyouiku” education for living” that is not limited to study alone.

“Educational Insightful Networking”  is an event that emphasizes an educational component, sharing professional knowledge and personal experiences.

We hope you will use this event as a place to gain new knowledge and insights, and as a networking opportunity to meet new people!
