Past Events

Japan Time: May 11, 2025 (Sun) 1pm – 2:30pm / North American West Coast: May 10, 2025 (Sat) 9pm – 10:30pm

Guest Speaker: Eiji Yoshikawa, the Boxer Who Wants to Reform Society

He's a professional boxer and trainer who still steps into the ring at the age of 65! But that's not all.

📕 He delivers his words as an author, 🎥 he works as a film director and instructor at a film school, 📘 he serves as editor-in-chief of the English business magazine "TV TECH", 📰 he writes a column for a newspaper, 🎙️ and he is also a speaker who travels all over Japan and the world, ❤️ and he is also active as a philanthropist. And last year, in 2024, he finally... was inducted into the U.S. Boxing Hall of Fame!! He achieved the unprecedented feat of becoming the first Japanese person to receive two special awards: the "International Boxing Legend Award" and the "Gift of Love Award".

Currently, she continues to give approximately 1,000 lectures across Japan, Europe, and North America, focusing on the themes of "dreams," "non-violence," and "justice," at institutions such as Columbia University, the United Nations University, Waseda University, Ritsumeikan University, nurseries, and elderly care facilities.

Thirteen people participated in the online event that day. Thank you! I'm glad that everyone was moved by each of Eiji's words and that the talk gave them an opportunity to reconsider things like "what a meaningful life is" and "what dreams are."
