The weather was wonderful this weekend, and I hope you all had a pleasant one. Today, I would like to inform you that Ms. Saeko Tsuda, one of our founders, former president, and current honorary director, received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette on April 29th. Ms. Tsuda founded the Vancouver Shinpo in 1978, which was the only weekly Japanese-language newspaper in the Vancouver area. Congratulations again, Ms. Tsuda.
