On May 27, 2014, the "High Tea Sushi – Networking Reception" was held at the Japanese Centre in Burnaby, organized by the Burnaby Board of Trade and in cooperation with the Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce.
Approximately 60 participants listened to speeches by Roger Lemir of the Japanese Cultural Centre and Colin Wilson of Rugby Canada, among others, before enjoying sushi and tea in the lobby of the Japanese Cultural Centre, where the event was held.
