An information session for the Victoria Chapter, which was officially approved at the general meeting in August 2007, was held at Victoria University on October 28th. President Mattson, Vice President Kazuko Komatsu, Directors Hashimoto, Hotta, and Hamano traveled all the way from Vancouver to show their support. Thanks to everyone's cooperation, we were able to gather about 50 people in total, including business professionals, members of the public, and students.
This information session, co-hosted with the Victoria University Job Hunting Club, was filled with the enthusiasm of many students. We were also honored to have a lecture on companies and business by Director Kazuko Komatsu, which was realized at the strong request of attendees during the preparation stage. During the Q&A session after the information session, there were numerous questions directed at Director Komatsu, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Job Hunting Club, demonstrating the high level of interest among the students.
