On June 25, 2013, a seminar and discussion was held at the Listel Hotel in Robson, Vancouver, with the theme "Learn from Housing Professionals! From Large-Scale Development Sites to Small Home Renovations!"
Part one featured a lecture by Hiroshi Kuratsu, President of Mitsui Home Canada, titled "The Fusion of Japanese and Canadian Technology Will Transform the North American Housing Market." Part two consisted of a panel discussion with members of the Kenyu-kai group, incorporating questions and opinions from the participants, on the theme of "Smart Renovations Can Increase the Value of Your Home."
