Regarding the above-mentioned event, unfortunately, Air...Due to flight cancellations caused by strikes in Canada,The trip of the junior storytellers from Hinomisaki American Village, who were scheduled to visit, has been cancelled.Due to the difficulties involved, we have reluctantly decided to cancel the event.
 
I am extremely sorry to have to inform you of this so soon after sending you the information,We kindly ask for your understanding.

Japan is currently observing the Obon festival; how are you all doing? We are pleased to announce that members of the NPO Hinomisaki American Village Storytellers Junior, from Mihama Town (formerly Mio Village) in Wakayama Prefecture, which has strong ties to Steveston, Richmond, will be visiting Vancouver. Our organization helped Mihama Town by donating a totem pole three years ago, and we would like to host a small welcome party for them. We would be delighted if you could join us. Light refreshments will be provided. If you plan to attend, please let us know by email by August 19th (Tuesday).

We regret to inform you that, due to flight cancellations caused by the Air Canada strike, the group “KATARIBE Junior,” who were scheduled to visit us, are no longer able to travel. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming event.

Hope all is well with you. This is an announcement about the welcome party for KATARIBE Juniors from Mihama-cho, Wakayama where we help send a totem pole three years ago. Steveston and Mihama-cho (formerly Mio-mura) have a long, historical relationship. Please join us in welcoming their visit to Vancouver.
