To all members of the Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce
It's already May, how are you all doing? The annual Hyak Festival will be held in New Westminster on Saturday, May 25th.
This year, the Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce will once again be participating in the parade in collaboration with the Vancouver Sakura-kai mikoshi (portable shrine) group and a Japanese taiko drumming group. We encourage all members to join us. Below are links to past videos and registration.

Hyack Festival Volunteer Activities (google.com)
We will be holding an information/practice session on the following dates, so please come and join us.
- Information session (explanation only) will be held on Saturday, May 11th at 10:00 AM.
Steveston Buddhist Society
Address: 4360 Garry St, Richmond, V7E 2V2 - Practice session on Sunday, May 12th, starting at 11:00 AM.
UBC Robson Square
Address: 800 Robson St,Vancouver, V6Z 3B7
(※There is no parking available.)
Please note that there is a limit to the number of participants in the Hyack Festival Parade, so if you wish to participate, please register as soon as possible. We will close registration once the maximum number of participants is reached, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
