The Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon featuring a lecture by Minister Theresa Watt on January 30, 2015.

Minister Theresa Watt emigrated to British Columbia in 1989. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
She played a key role in launching the first Cantonese, Mandarin, and Punjabi daily television news program in British Columbia. Furthermore, in 2013, she received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Award in recognition of her contributions to the community, demonstrating her active involvement in various fields.
